Barcelona set to appoint Martinez as Xavi refuse to take over


According to report from Barcauniversal, Barcelona are ready to appoint Belgium national team coach Roberto Martinez once Ronald koeman is sacked as pressure mount.

The report was release soon after club icon Xavi Hernandez who now manage Qatar side Al Sadd rejected the offer to return to the club as manager.

With  Barcelona in a very dire condition on and off the pitch, the team are not getting the needed result and are ready to fire Ronald Koeman if the situation remain unchange.

Xavi Hernandez, a former club captain is rated highly by the Braugranes has rejected the chance to take over the helm in two previous occasions stated the he is not ready to take over at Camp Nou.

Barcelona will now have to pay a fee believe to be £1.5m as compensation to the Belgium national team if the are to sign him.
